The 500th anniversary of the founding of the first Villa of Colima
This 12-sided coin has aa centre of 65% copper; 25% zinc and 10% nickel; and an outer ring of: 92% copper; 6% (aluminum; and 2% nickel. It has a diameter of 30 mm and a weight of 12.67 g. In the centre of the reverse is an image of the King of Coliman, with Tlalchichi dogs of Colima on the right and the silhouette of the Colima volcano in the background. At the top is the microtext “COLIMOTL”, the name of the King of Coliman.
