As mintmark (illustrated below) New dies were introduced with a redesigned Cap and Eagle. The Cap, unique to this year, is very shalloe in relief and almost void of detail in the centre except for a pronounced raised dot. The Eagle appears a bit bolder with a plain snake that is no longer serrated or detailed. |
