Somewhat crudely produced with broad strike doubling visible on the hand and book side and several areas of bluntness along the edges. Sharply struck with full mint lustre.

There is a hint of repunching on the 3 which connects the lower loop to the center, and this may have been confused with a 2 in the past, but no trace of the base of the 2 is seen and repunching seems a more likely candidate than an overdate. Struck medal turn
